For our client active in providing energy and meter data management solutions in region Kortrijk, Randstad Professionals is looking for a

Java Developer (m/f)

- Based at our headquarters in Kortrijk, BELGIUM, as Java developer on the EIServer® platform you participate in the full development lifecycle of the product, including the design, coding and testing.
- The development itself is governed by an Agile development methodology, consisting of an iterative approach, loosely based on the SCRUM methodology.
- The focus of this development role will be on the core business logic as well as the presentation layer for the EIServer application
- Recently the platform has been extended with a web based UI, developed in the Adobe Flex technology, as such the development will be a mix of Java and Flex development.

- Software developer with a Master degree in engineering or software development, or equivalent through experience.
- A Java - Flex developer has experience in the development of J2SE and/or Flex applications, including related technologies such as JMS, JAAS, ESB, .... Preferably using JDK 1.6.
- Experience with Tomcat and/or JBOSS is a plus.
- Experience with development of applications on top of Oracle 10g.
- The candidate should be very passionate about Java and Flex technology and follows the new evolutions in this field.
- The candidate should have a can-do attitude, able to quickly analyse the challenges and persisting in the face of problems.
- He or she should think autonomous and result driven, able to closely cooperate with team.
- A good knowledge of Dutch and English is a must, of French is a definite plus.
