job description

Your role:
- To support the EMEA printed artwork process and Artwork Workflow Management system utilization to contribute to an effective and efficient artwork process, to support business goals of maximum compliance (no recalls), high Right First Time and a fast delivery turnaround.
- To collaborate with, and provide process/system guidance, to Artwork Centers, Regulatory Affairs, Pack Sites and Print Suppliers. Most of the communication (90%) will take place in English as the role oversees the entire EMEA region.
- To work in the AMSBlue Artwork Management system to perform various System Administrator tasks in AMS Blue as designated by the EMEA Artwork System Expert.
- To provide direct systems support to AMS Blue system users in response to their queries that arrive in the daily Regional Support Inbox, in an effort to resolve system related issues as well as business process questions. Resource will work with IT in escalation of IT system issues towards resolution as necessary.
- Tasks related to the daily Regional Support Inbox will include but are not limited to the set-up of new user accounts in AMS Blue, set-up of workflows, coordination of master style development, answering queries with regards to text overflows, support artwork development, answering artwork related queries with regards to the implementation of serialization …
- As required, one may also work directly in AMS Blue and with the users on any relevant reference/guidance documents related to artwork and provide oversight to artwork workflow query clarification, as necessary, to ensure right-first-time (RFT) and timely execution.
- Responsibilities to liaise with the external Artwork Center in managing daily prioritization of urgent artwork creation jobs and status updates, and in follow-up on prioritized artwork completions to ensure timelines are met.
- In order to complete all these required system support activities, the resource will attend daily (Webex) meetings. These meetings will include but are not limited to Schawk Error Improvement Meetings, follow-up meetings with artwork centers, ad hoc meetings to find a solution for any artwork issue that may require support from an AMS Blue system admin.
- Apart from the standard support activities within the AMS Blue system, the resource will be involved in a number of project activities.
- The Global Artwork Team is working on an upgrade of the AMS Blue system. Within this project, testing of the new system would need to be done to make sure all functionalities are in place. Additional support can be requested to support in the update of SOPs related to the artwork development & artwork management process. Furthermore, any additional support related to project activities can be needed as the project team sees fit. The resource will attend meetings to understand the overall scope of the project and learn all new system functionalities and supporting business processes for the upgrade.
- To support ongoing projects (including but not limited to Creative Artwork Design, new product launches) by executing tasks based on decisions made by the strategy / project team.

your contribution

Education:
Bachelor degree

Work experience:
• Familiarity with GMP requirements and working in a highly regulated industry is a plus
• Experience in pharmaceutical labeling or in packaging design development is an asset
• Experiences such as the following are differentiators: business processes relevant to printed packaging component artworks design, graphics design, workflow management system utilization, business process mapping, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) development and implementation, previous “system support role” to a wide user base, change control management.

Skills:
• Analytical and process minded with a short learning curve to learn the artwork system and business processes.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Is able to work independently to gather relevant facts and distill information.
• Has the ability to acquire cooperation with others and provides significant contributions as a member of a team.
• Strong organizational skills.
• The ability to be flexible and handle multiple tasks well under pressure.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail.
• Process-oriented. Familiarity with supply chain and change control processes that cuts across various functions.
• Willing to travel to the Netherlands & UK (1or 2 times/quarter)
• Willing to travel to Brussels on a regular basis

Language skills:
A decent knowledge of English is a must (both written and spoken)
