To strengthen their product engineering team in Aalst, they are looking for a motivated CAD Engineer.

- As a member of a product team, you develop the technical concept of new products for the worldwide market. - Once the concept and the design are finalized, you create the 3D, often with complex freeform, and the 2D that will be used for tooling. - You analyse slope and wall thickness, compare geometry of different products, you analyse scan files. - To predict the quality of the new product, you make CAE studies such as moldflow simulation and strength analyse. - You are part of the multidisciplinary technical team that reviews the details to ensure a smooth industrialization. - You are responsible to update product CAD files of new products during debugging and of products that need improvement.
- You have a master degree in Industrial Engineering, mechanical or electro-mechanical, in Industrial Design or in Product Development. - You are familiar with 3D parametric CAD software, by preference Siemens NX and a first working experience in a CAD position is a plus. - You are interested in how things can work, in mechanical concepts, and how they are made, in plastics, mold design, plastic injection molding. - You have a very good eye for detail and you can deal with complexity. - English speaking and writing is no problem.
